Method
- Whisk together milk,sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, crea, and cake mix in a sauce pan until well blended

- Cook over medium- low heat until mixture reaches 160℉ stirring often.

- Remove from heat and let cool until warm then cover with plastic wrap making sure plastic is touching the cream mixture. Let cool completely at room temperature about 1 hour. Then place in the refrigerator until liquid is cold for 1 hour.

- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturers directions until it reaches a peak.

- Transfer ice cream to a lidded plastic freezer container. Fold in your favorite birthday cake sprinkle toppingsk Cover and freeze for 4-6 hours or for best results overnight.
